Can you recommend me a VPN?

I'd much rather take advice from some of you gentlemen (about VPNs, not life- that would be mad) than some random cunt somewhere.
I don't know if some of you know but all the big broadband providers are going to be sending warning letters to UK punters who Mrs May, the vicar's daughter, would tut at. They can't actually enforce anything but it's more Big Brother bullshit which is why I have almost no internet presence.
Look up 'Get It Right from a Genuine Site' if you want to see what it's all about. Basically though it's the state busy-bodys blacking their noses into your internet browsing.
I just installed the free version of CyberGhost and it is SO FUCKING SLOW. I know a couple of you rate it so would it be quicker if I used the paid version?
So, those in the know, any suggestions on a VPN- I don't mind paying for it but I also don't want it slowing my 150Meg broadband down to dial-up speed.

I use the guys at the link below. It's a paid service, but works well for me and one subscription can cover multiple devices (I have it on phone, tablet and laptop). I work abroad so use it to access all the catch up sites. Only BT Sport seem to have caught on and I cannot use their app on my tablet - but if I access via my laptop for BT Sport it works ok.

Can your ISP really differentiate between you streaming on Kodi or streaming on Netflix??
I know the torrent bods are first up for the 'educational' letter but will the streamers, like me, ever get one??
Plus I didn't think streaming was actually illegal, it was the uploading that was illegal?

Thanks again chaps, really appreciate it. Plenty of VPNs there for me to plough through and all without having to read stuff like 'it's my go-to app', 'your mileage may vary' and all that shit that makes me want to punch my monitor.

I use Lamnia in USA. had them for 4 years not cheap but works well on my computer, ipad etc.

Does anyone know anyone with one of these warning letters?? I don't know anyone.... aren't these letters more dictated to P2P torrent sharers rather than streamers?? End of the day it's only a educational `warning letter'

Some content providers are, indeed, closing down access via VPNs - the BBC being one such example.
I have used (the German) Your-Freedom.net (note the hypen, therse's a similarly named site in the US) in the past - there are free & paid options.
It's fairly painless to set up and offers a choice of servers.

Do you vpn users find some sites block VPNs? Sure I had it when I tried Private Internet Access a while ago.
